Our stay at Purves Cottage was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The hosts were amazing and made us feel so welcome. The cottage itself was beautiful and had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The living room was cozy and inviting, and the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped. The bathroom was like a little oasis, with a stunning design. Although the weather didn't allow us to use the garden, we made good use of the gorgeous fireplaces. The welcome basket of goodies was a lovely touch and our dogs enjoyed their treats. The cottage is spacious and clean, and the large, modern bathroom was a highlight. The private garden overlooking open fields was a peaceful escape. The location was also great, with a pub in the village and a convenient Co-op nearby. we loved everything about Purves Cottage and can't wait to return.
There were a couple of minor things that we noticed during our stay. The bed was a bit too firm for our liking, but that's just a personal preference.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Purves Cottage for our weekend getaway. The cottage itself was stylish and clean, with plenty of luxurious touches that made us feel like we were staying at a 5-star hotel. The hamper provided on arrival was a lovely touch, and the garden was fantastic with great games and even a disposable BBQ. The towels smelled amazing after a relaxing bath, and everything was spotlessly clean. The local pub was lovely with a beautiful beer garden, and the area was perfect for dog walks. We would definitely recommend Purves Cottage and can't wait to come back!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and felt like a home away from home. The host was very welcoming and the garden provided a peaceful retreat. The location was ideal, with a quiet village atmosphere and easy access to nearby attractions. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind.
The only slight downside was that there was only one bathroom for a larger group, which required some planning. the TV signal was weak at times, but there were plenty of DVDs available for entertainment.

The bathroom was absolutely stunning with a fantastic shower that made us feel like royalty. the cottage itself was warm and cosy, providing a comfortable and relaxing space. the kitchen and dining area were well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals easily. We also enjoyed the little private garden at the back. the location was great, just a short walk to a lovely pub and easy access to nearby towns and attractions.
That there was only one bathroom for five of us. This meant a bit of planning was necessary to avoid any inconvenience.

We had the most incredible stay at Purves Cottage! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the cottage. The modern bathroom with both a shower and bath was a dream. The hosts even left us a generous welcome basket, which was such a thoughtful touch. We loved the large, enclosed garden that overlooked the fields, perfect for our Labrador dogs. And with off-road parking for two vehicles, we had no worries. The location was fantastic, with a great pub in the village and a Co-op just a short drive away. And only 15 minutes to the beach! we couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. Despite the bed being a little too firm for our liking, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this cottage to everyone.
